| Introduction | Hi, my name is Maryanne Drury. For as long as I can remember I have always liked taking pictures. With an art back ground in painting and design photography has been one more vehicle that has allowed me to express myself artistically. In the area of music, I have had the pleasure of photographing many rock bands and musicians. I have had the pleasure of capturing the performances in a wide range of Virginia and Washington D.C. area venues. In the area of sporting events, I am a great fan of Lacrosse and Ice Hockey. I am a huge fan of the Washington Capitals Ice Hockey team in D.C. I have had the pleasure of going to the practices down at the Kettler Center in Balston Mall. I have also had the pleasure of attending a few games at the Verizon Center The camera I use is a Nikon P100 which is nice and light weight for running around taking pictures. This is especially nice when taking pictures at a crowded rock concert |
