| Introduction | I'm an Irish lady at heart and have taken the big step to move to Sunny Spain. I'm studying in Madrid for a year on an Erasmus. Exciting? I think so! What isn't so exciting though is leaving behind my boyfriend of 5 years, 3 months and 13 days (that's 167,270400 seconds- that's a lot of seconds) my family (especially my mammy!) and my friends! HOWEVER! Despite having my kidneys placed right behind my eyes (I swear I cry when the kettle boils) I am determined to make it through the year, find a job and get great results in university! I might even learn some of the language while I'm here! |

| Favorite movies | To be honest, anything that makes me cry... I'm a sucker for girly films. Don't know how many times 'Pretty Woman', 'An Officer and a Gentleman' and 'The Notebook' have been watched. Richard Gere is beginning to become a large part of my life. I actually love him- like really love him. It's ok though, Jack understands and realises that although he is the only man in my life, (other than my daddy!) Richard is a part of this relationship too. Any films with animals either- 'Hatchi: A Dog's Tale'. Good God, so not watch this film if you are suicidal- or maybe do. The dog might restore a bit of faith in you. Or else you'll be so drained from crying that you are too tired to do anything else. *Apologies to anyone who has been made to suffer through the films with me!* |
| Favorite music | Anything that I can sing to really. Nothing like sticking on Jango and rolling through the Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday stations. I'd eat their voices if I could. |
| Favorite books | Again I'm a sucker for the girly ones- Maeve Binchy is taking it a bit too far though. Anything that can make me cry is considered a good read- I honestly fear I have issues. |
