| Introduction | Thank you for looking at this blog, which is a labor of love combining two of my interests...film analysis and gender studies. I became particularly interested in the topic of transgender representation in film and television after my oldest child came out as transgender. I am hoping to shed some light on the under-representation and mis-representation of transgender individuals that is prevalent in the media today by offering some insight and opinion on popular films and television programs with transgender themes and characters. |
