| Introduction | After two years of "trying" and medical testing, it was determined that we would have to undergo IVF/ICSI in order to have a child. While the first attempt led to a pregnancy, I miscarried at 8 weeks. After two more unsuccessful attempts, we got pregnant! The doctors transferred two embryos, but one spotaneously split, and at our first sonogram we found out we were pregnant with triplets! I was placed on home bedrest at 22 weeks, and was in the hospital at 25 1/2 weeks. Our babies were born on July 23, 2007 at 30 1/2 weeks! Aaron weighed 2.6 lbs, Adam was 2.9, and Avery weighed 3.0. They were 13, 13, and 12 inches respectively. The boys spent 5 weeks in the NICU and Avery spent 7. Thank God they had no complications, and just needed to grow! We Thank God for all of our family, friends, and others who prayed for us and the babies. We couldn't have made it without that support! |
