| Introduction | I’m a retired Christian lady who Has been blessed with a loving family and many good friends. I find myself in a position of Caregiver for which I was totally unprepared. It has been a tedious road of successes and failures. My mother-in-law age 95 requires daily support. My husband, of 49 years, was diagnosed 3 years ago with Parkinson’s disease. I have since learned that we have Parkinson’s disease for it effects every part of our lives. My prayer is that something I might say in this blog will encourage someone. We may never meet but words of encouragement transcend miles. In my weakest times God has encouraged me through total strangers. .May my open frankness help you with your struggles as a caregiver. |
