Introduction	I come by all this honestly -- I was a war correspondent; a chef for a law firm; a cook for a fraternity; a nude model (not for a fraternity); i've catered wedding feasts; organized parties for hundreds; traveled more or less all over the world (though still working on South America). I cook and read about food constantly; I build furniture (poorly but with great gusto). I am impatient and believe the 80 percent solution is usually good enough (hence the laundry problems). I like instant but stylish gratification. When I die my epitaph will say: She packed a great picnic. (I have already ordered it.) I am bossy but benevolent... if you ignore my advice this time, I know you'll be back.
