About me

LocationSan Antonio, TX
IntroductionPolitics, government, and Texas. I really don't know much. I've always been too young to vote and I never thought I needed to know. Neither of my parents have a political party. My dad was born in Cuba and he didn't know very much about the government or Texas, so my dad never had much influence on me in that category. My mom was born and raised in Texas, South Texas. She falls in the group that thinks their vote doesn't matter and they never do what they say they will. She never cared, so I never cared. I'm taking this class because I need a government credit, but I am hoping to learn how our government works in Texas and a little of how it works in the US too. I guess I do know a more about our government than I give myself credit because on a civics quiz of 33 questions I got 25 correct. I did much better than I thought and beat plenty of people who took the quiz too. My 18th birthday was January 17th, so I was too young to vote in this last election. I wanted too, but I really don't know if I would have even if I had been of age.
