My blogs
| Introduction | I live on a narrow lane in Jerusalem, now home for Max and me after close to 30 years in another center-of-the-world city, Washington DC. During the years in DC I was Managing Editor of Biblical Archaeology Review and later of Moment magazine. My columns on Jewish life--mine and others in Israel and the US-- appeared for many years in Moment; BAR was the destination of my fascination with archaeology. Israel is the home of our three sons and their wives and our 11 grandchildren. Alex, our second son, serving as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces, was killed in a battle with terrorists in Lebanon on his 25th birthday in 1987. He lives on through his letters and journals published in "Alex--Building a Life" now also available in Hebrew. www.alexsinger.org |
