| Introduction | Hola! I am a Latina/Hispanic/Chicana and Chinese woman. I have many titles: Hermana/sister, mama/mother, esposa/wife, and amiga/friend and Tia mommy. I have swam with the human sharks and with the guppies throughout my life. I know how to laugh and cry at my jokes. I am a woman with a voice. I decided at the age of 60 before I croak that I would like to share some stories about being a"brown" woman, mother, wife, sister, and a friend. I will share some of my chapters about my life, and hopefully, you, my sisters of the world, will understand my tears of happiness and sadness as a woman in this world. I have experienced birth, death, the loss of innocence, and at the end, learning the dance of wisdom. I hope you will enjoy the journey with me and my stories. I will also share my thoughts and feelings about war, human trafficking, child abuse, hunger and the list goes on. I am a woman with a voice! Luz |
