| Introduction | I am the mother to 3 beautiful daughters. I have a wonderful husband, who puts up with all the estrogen in the house. Even the cat, Snickers, is a girl. My daughters are my best accomplishments. My oldest, Cayli is 11. She is my angel baby and also my mini-me. My 2nd daughter is Natalie who is 3 1/2. We describe her as the Tazmanian Devil. Last but certainly not least is Ella who is 20 months. So far Ella has proven to be the one you can't keep up with. Naty and Ella both suffer from connexin 26 which is a genetic disorder that causes severe to profound hearing loss. Naty has 2 cochlear implants and Ella has 1. She will be getting her 2nd one in a few months. I am an avid photographer who takes pics on the side, a Girl Scout co-leader, a co-leader for the Parent to Parent Navigation team of Gordon County, a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, and an advocate for the Newborn Hearing Screening Test and this.... is our story. |
