| Introduction | I’m 30 years old. My husband, Andrew, and I have been married 8 years. I’ve had 2 ectopic pregnancies in my fallopian tubes. The first one resulted in emergency surgery and the removal of my right fallopian tube. The second happened 5 years later, as a result of the surgery that tube is 100% blocked. In between the ectopic pregnancies I also had 2 miscarriages (one of which I’ve kept entirely to myself). We can’t financially go forward with pursuing IVF or adoption. And emotionally, I don’t want to. After years of heartbreak, I’m saying goodbye to motherhood. I’ve decided to share my journey of living a childless life and trying to move on after infertility. |
