| Introduction | Hello everyone! I'm Cassandra McCarthy, but you can call me Cassie or Kathy or Casey or whatever you want, really. I am 27 years old and I have lived in Canton for 25 of those years. I have two gorgeous, brilliant children- Alaina, 6 and Jack, 3. I work as a secretary for a local business as well as attend SUNY Canton. This is, hopefully, my last semester here- I plan to transfer to Potsdam after I get my Liberal Arts degree at the end of this semester. Eventually, I would like to become a high school social studies or english teacher. I haven't quite settled on one yet. I love to write, but usually just for myself; I'm not used to sharing my work, but it will be good for me. I also enjoy reading immensely- historical fiction and non-fiction are my addictions. Beyond those interests, I like to sketch, watch movies, travel, hike, study astrology and alternative medicines and watch the History Channel and History International obsessively. |
