Here the wound is scraped that it may sting—and heal. Here Caliban will find his face and Hamlet his peace of mind. Here the gadfly makes its roost. Here style is substance and substance is the greatest style. Here the source is liberty; the spirit is liberty; the purpose is liberty. Here Eve rejects the apple. The Bruin Standard is open to all viewpoints, so long as their expression corresponds to the spirit of our mission.
