Introduction Well, I'm recently retired from being a teacher. Actually, a professor at a college. I taught Costume Design for Theatre. I was also the assistant professor for Scenic Design. So, at any time, I may be teaching sewing, painting, drafting, draping, millinery, drawing, among other things... (particularly knitting during dress rehearsals...) You'll probably see all my interest topics, or snippets of in this blog. So, anything that is: farming, gardening, knitting, purse making, scrapbooking (which I like to call scraftbooking), sewing, bread baking, my job: costume design. I take all of these things in deeply--the reactions, interactions and actions--because, every day matters. I know what it's like to wake up and open your eyes and breathe, each day--having gone through chemotherapy will do that for you... ....it's a gift, that breath....
