| Introduction | I am primarily a mother and a teacher. I am lucky to be the parent of 4 grown children. I have one son and three daughters. My children are the reasons why I became a teacher. I became interested in education and teaching when my son first went to school. When my oldest daughter became school age, I started teaching in her elementary school. I've been teaching ever since. Secondarily, I am a teacher. After my children were in school, I returned to school myself and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English. I went to graduate school and earned a master's degree in Scientific and Technical Writing; and I received another master's a few years later in Adult Education. In 2009, I received a Ph.D. in Education, Teacher Leadership. My area of research was the success strategies of Saudi Arabian students studying in the United States. Being a mother is the best thing in my life. Being a teacher is almost as good as being a mother! I love facilitating teacher-training, especially online or when I travel to another country. I am a lucky woman! |
