| Introduction | My name is Jyoti, and I live in Manhattan. I started this food blog as a result of a photography class I took. In the class,for our final project, we had to submit photos that were based around a theme. Some people focused on pictures of their kids, or their pets. Well, what do I do in my spare time? That's easy:I stuff my face! My project was based on food that I cooked during the week. A friend of mine sent me the link to Smitten Kitchen and I was inspired! Then I got to thinking - I have all these nice little snaps of delicious food - so WHY DON'T I CREATE A BLOG? And that is how hom nom got started. How did I come up with the title, Hom Nom? My best friend and I always end our conversations with HNHN, instead of XOXO. HNHN meaning "hom nom hom nom". And that is how I came up with the name for the blog. |
