| Introduction | Moving is upheaval, and from the time I was young it was part of my life. It is part of many girls' and women's lives whether it is planned or sudden, chosen or forced. These have been my experiences too. I work in development projects, planning and advising yet much of what I know was learned from women who have been on the move. Even if they haven't left their home town or village, they are moving constantly between people and tasks, creating nets--safety nets and networks. I hope this blog will let us increase the web of women's nets to make our paths easier! |
