| Introduction | I am currently a Junior here at the University of Michigan - Dearborn and my major is in Education with a concentration in Social Studies, and a minor in Hispanic Studies. I have an older brother who just completed his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. I have three dogs (two Dachshunds, and a Jack Russell Terrier) and their names are Pretzel, Snickers (Jack Russell Terrier), and Smorz. Pretzel was given his name based on a famous children's book, involving a miniature Dachshund named "Pretzel" saving another miniature Dachshund, who was trapped in a deep hole, and could not get out without the help of "Pretzel's" elongated body. The other two dogs names were given to them based on their coloration. I also have a 14 Gallon freshwater tank with a variety of freshwater fish as well as a 29 Gallon saltwater tank with an array of beautiful coral and fish. |
| Interests | In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and helping out those who are in need as much as possible. This includes donating gently used clothes that no longer fit me to the Salvation Army and donating other perishable items to Purple Heart. I also enjoy traveling around the world, and in doing so, collecting coins and paper money, circulated or not from the places I have been. My collection of coins or paper money is also courtesy of online shops where I purchase money and coins from 2nd and 3rd world countries that I am certain I will never have the opportunity to visit. But, I guess this hobby of mine makes me a nuismatist's aficionado. I also enjoy fishing, boating, playing in as well as umpiring baseball games, when I am free from all interferences and when the weather cooperates. |
