Introduction	I am a South Indian Iyer by birth, but having been brought up in Mumbai I am more a Mumbaikar at heart. The cosmopolitan life of Mumbai has given me the opportunity to get in touch with people belonging to many different cultures and languages. That gave me an opportunity to cook or try out different types of cuisines. Since I am a vegetarian who is trying to incorporate healthy cooking options you will see those efforts reflected in my blog. My inlaws are more towards the conservative south indian cooking whereas I being from Mumbai want to do a lot more experimentation with my food as my choices are limited to vegetarian food only. In my blog you will get a sample of Mumbai food which according to me is a one stop shop for all cuisines national or international. All Mumbaikars would definitely agree that you can take a Mumbaikar out of Mumbai but not Mumbai out of a Mumbaikar.
