| Introduction | Spent my life learning Japanese only to discover that I need to speak Spanish. Ever since my return from the Far East in 2006 it's as if my life has been on fast forward. I had a kid, got married and bought a house in all of three years. My hubby is a Cuban refugee which keeps things mighty interesting. |

| Favorite music | I like it all, though these days my pandora radio station are mostly Regina Spektor, New Order, tribe called quest and Might Mighty Bosstones. |
| Favorite books | I enjoy Murakami, Kafka on the Shore is one of my absolute faves. I also just read a book called Finding Manana, which is about the Mariel boat lift. I'm definitely into learning more about Cuba and relations with the U.S. after turning Torres. |
When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
It never comes out. That's why I'm hard of hearing. Seriously, if you try to talk to me somewhere with a lot of background noise don't expect a response.
