| Introduction | Welcome to the Acumen Artist Group, my name is Jordan Lanier. I've collected (with permission of course) some of the best looking artworks on the net. Most of my selections came from various sources like Etsy and Deviantart. What I've put together is a friendly atmosphere where fine art and commercial art could freely meet. |
| Interests | When I created this blog, I never intended for it to be about me exclusively. Don't misunderstand I love to draw but recently, I've also grown in the direction of art promotion. This blog has many purposes but I'm hoping that it will inspire people to pursue, learn and immersed themselves into a creative realm. It's primary focus is to display the talents of various artists from all over the world. I've strived never to display any offensive artworks. I want this blog to be friendly to all viewers, young and old. International flavour in a cohesive environment is the goal I wish to reach. When it comes to art, I don't take sides and I don't cater to any particular groups. I love art and it's obvious that I'm not alone. Art belongs to everyone and that's what this blog is all about. I looked up the word art numerous times. Here is the description I liked the best. Art is a deep, intimate expression of the human imagination. As you can see within our gallery, divesity is embraced because no two artworks are alike. Art is a hard subject to define but it ultimately becomes visualized. This blog is still growing and I'm hoping to add on more as time goes by. There's a lot of ground I haven't covered yet but the mission is clear. All engines are set for full steam ahead and our course is heading towards infinity. I'm extremely grateful to each and every artists for their participation and I encourage you the viewers to leave positive comments for fruitful artistic growth. I want to thank Deviantart, Etsy, Facebook and Black Art in America for their support. I'm hoping to one day have this concept developed for television but for now, this blog will suffice.
