Introduction	I have been teaching reading and writing for about 14 years. The majority of my teaching experience has been in 3rd grade. I had the opportunity to work with 6th graders last year and enjoyed it immensely. This coming year I will begin working with struggling readers and writers primarily in grades K-3. Each new experience has been challenging yet rewarding. Regardless of my assignment, I really love being a teacher!

Favorite movies	Any really...other than sappy chick-flicks. Love a good comedy, action, or horror.
Favorite music	my taste in music really varies
Favorite books	anything but a novel. more informational stuff i guess. i don't have the patience for long drawn out story lines, lol.
