| Introduction | The blitz period in the UK has always fascinated me because I've often wondered how I would have coped in that situation. Having two small children and a third on the way I can't imagine the nightly worry and the need to carry on with such adversity just around the corner. Modern life can sometimes seem so stressful yet I suspect we don't even know we, 're born. I like local history and was amazed to learn that there are still some aspects of the blitz that exist in our local geography and so I thought it was a good idea to explore a few through this blog. |
