| Introduction | I have been a lawyer in Miami since 1986. From 1986 to 1992 I was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Dade County, Florida, serving under then State Attorney Janet Reno. I worked in the Narcotics Division and was then a division chief handling homicide prosecutions. I have been a criminal defense attorney since 1992 defending clients in State and Federal Courts all over the United States. In 2014 I was awarded the "Against All Odds" Award by the Miami Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys for my successful defense in the re-trial of a client who had been on death row since 1992. |
