| Introduction | I think that I learned marketing from my parents, even though they are in completely unrelated industries. I grew up hearing them promote me and all my attributes to their friends at every opportunity they had. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable, but amazing to watch. It was not exactly about the things they said, but the way they said them. Everyone had these high expectations of me because of that, which can be the subject of many therapy sessions, but the reality is that it worked! When you have a story to tell and you tell it with passion and connect to people, they buy it! |
