| Introduction | Content with where and who I am in life. Finally at that place in time where I can slow down enough to understand and pursue a closer relationship with God. My wife has become my best friend and if you are mature enough to understand that the true friends you have in a life time can be counted on the fingers of one hand, then you know how significant she is to me at this stage of my life. We raised six children together. Mine hers and ours in a blended family format, four boys and two girls. The saying "a son is a son until he takes a wife, and a daughter is a daughter all of her life," has been accepted by us as a reality. Unlike us, when our parents "did it wrong," we were able to forgive. Seems like some children never can because they chose not too. I find peace in knowing I taught them well enough for them to not make the same mistakes with their children that we made with them... |
