Introduction	Vive le blog! — we're still here, 15 years later. Sometimes I like to write about the things that entertain me (it would be much more often if I didn't have to work for a living), so this is something of a diary of my consumption of music, TV, movies and such. I grew up in the ’80s, and that’s a huge influence on what I like, especially in terms of music. The blog name is inspired by the Wang Chung song of the same name, which beautifully laments life on “the warmer side.” I live in northeast Mississippi and have written for newspapers for more than 20 years.
