| Introduction | Tasha Squires currently works as a young adult consultant for the Shorewood-Troy Public Library District in Shorewood, IL collaborating on programs for teens and completing her certification for becoming a school library media specialist. Previously, she was the Young Adult Librarian for the Fountaindale Public Library District in Bolingbrook, IL for over eight years. In her tenure there, she worked extensively with the public school district and made wonderful connections with the teachers, students and administrators. She is looking forward to beginning her new career as a school library media specialist. Tasha holds an MLIS from Dominican University. Her book Library Partnerships: Making Connections Between School and Public Libraries will be published by Information Today, Inc. 2009. |
