| Introduction | I'm starting this blog to have fun with current events and politics through light verse. I'm a stalwart liberal, so don't expect bipartisanship. I'm a retired cellular physiologist who's left science behind to concentrate on writing short stories and verse, learning to play blues harp, playing the drums, photography, tennis and listening to jazz and blues. My favorite poet is Seamus Heaney and my favorite jazz group is the Miles Davis quintet of the '60s with the incomparable Tony Williams on drums. |
