| Introduction | Over the last 25 years I've played double bass in a variety of genres ranging from bluegrass to big band. These days I mostly play jazz, in a spectrum for mainstream to free improvisation. Currently playing with CLQ, Blue Jazz Quintet and the Wearside Big Band. Previous bands include New Jazz Quartet, Jon Gordon Band, Howlin' at the Moon, Moorcock Ceilidh Band. I'm always happy to play with musicians who appreciate the warm, dark sound of the acoustic double bass. |
