Introduction	I have lived most of my life in the country near a small southern town and I love it!!! I have three wonderful children. Both of my girls are grown-one married and one who is still single and living on her own. Both are currently teaching school; one first grade and one fourth grade. My son (the baby) is in college pursuing his education degree. I have two adorable grandsons and one very beautiful granddaughter who I keep while her mommy works. Both boys attend school. I thank the Lord every day for allowing me this time with them. I also have six adventurous nephews and 5 wonderful nieces. I love spending time with my friends and family. I was recently nominated to the DAR and I do volunteer photography.I think it's amazing to have lived for half a century and to have seen so many changes in my life. Please enjoy roaming through my getaway space!
Interests	I love reading and will read almost anything-except horror books. I also enjoy taking pictures but am not a professional by any means. History is also an area I can really get into which of course leads to being interested in the family tree which has so many branches I can literally spend hours working on it hardly noticing how much time has passed. I've recently been on the hunt for old photos of my hometown. Right after the New Year my husband bought a 4-wheeler and I'm learning that riding is a great stress reducer and a good way to spend a little time to myself out there in nature...which I have always enjoyed. I like to fish if the fish are biting but can get bored pretty quickly when they aren't. Once in a while I like to create something with my own two hands but have little patience for projects that take a long time to complete. I can be found in the late fall or early spring sitting (or laying) on the ground digging for treasures that someone discarded years ago as junk. I also love flowers and have pots of them on my patio during the summer and an old cast iron wash pot full of pansies for the colder months. Lastly, I love to travel and it doesn't really matter how near or how far I go as long as there are plenty of places to photograph!!!
Favorite movies	Bring the box of kleenex but give me a happy ending!!!
Favorite music	My favorite music is country but I can also listen to music from back in the day...you know...the 70's.
Favorite books	I love all books except Stephen King type books. I want a book that makes me happy, makes me laugh or makes me think. I also like books that teach me something. But I don't want to read a book that makes me want to hide beneath the covers!!
