| Introduction | I hate dogma, and have a deep and instinctive disrespect for joiners. That said I understand why many of us are, and I see the value in it. I could have been anything, and I have chosen to be me instead. I will write a novel sometimes in the next decade, but I won't do it until I find an idea worth pouring myself into and can reconcile why I want to write with what I believe it should accomplish. |

| Favorite movies | Anyone else noticed that TV is better than movies now? Deadwood, Lucky Louie, West Wing, The Usual Suspects, Dr. Zhivago, Eternal Sunshine, Blade Runner, V Vendetta, Groundhog Day, Man Facing Southeast, tons more. |
| Favorite music | Anything with a beat and interesting lyrics. I like ideas. Like everyone, partial to stuff from when I was 14-24. Okay, I better name some names in case anyone cares. Pixies, Offspring, U2, Paul Simon, Cowboy Junkies. |
| Favorite books | Ancestor's Tale, Guns Germs & Steel...getting to tired to think. I'm trying to read a book called "Formal Knot Theory" right now and man, is it humbling. If I cared about it infinitely I might be able to finish it this year. |
