Introduction	Who is the Uber-Geek? Well my name is Miles and I like to consider myself a swashbuckling bon vivant with a flair for everything. Of course, those who actually know me (and are willing to admit so publicly) would describe me as a somewhat plodding 40 plus year financial services maven who is the very definition of the term “Geek”. Who knew that interests in economics, history and Latin could and would be considered geekish - I certainly didn’t. Perhaps the most important thing to know about me is that I am very fortunate to have a lovely and understanding wife who tolerates my hobbies and a 14 year old son who likes to play war games with the “old man”. Important Note: This blog is written with tongue firmly planted in cheek and it’s main goal is to share our hobby experiences and (hopefully) some humor. I try to poke some fun at my wife and myself. By the way, if you ever meet my lovely wife, Dr. Spouse of the Uber-Geek, your initial reaction will be along the lines of “She’s married to that guy?” I live in constant fear she’ll one day realize she can do much better than me.
