| Introduction | I am 62 started surfing at 14 when i moved from the country to the city at 21 I got a job at Peter Clarke surfboards Brookvale as a sander and also began to learn and shape surfboards after working on the Central coast making boards I moved to Byron Bay in 72 and worked for San juan Bare Nature Warren Cornish and Sky surfboards during this time in Byron I shaped and made numerous boards for myself and others all these boards had concave bottoms and every one that rode a concave including myself were hooked and to this day I'd say all of them still wouldn't ride any other bottom configuration .I have worked and surfed with some of the most wonderful surfers and designers of boards and its everything that I learnt in those wonderful years thats being put into each board I make, and only one hand touches them, me! . Oh yeah ! and the're built tough too, not a throw away...after 6 months! |
