Introduction	I was born in the Midwest a very long time ago, it seems! My husband of 27 years passed away on Nov. 1st from lung cancer. I have a 45 year old son and lots of furry friends. I love to crochet, and sell on Etsy. Great hobby but haven't been able to since I broke my arm and tore the muscles and tendons in my shoulder. Just now healing. I'm not looking forward to getting old, so I won't. I got the nickname "Doc" from my Dad, and people call me that now because I'm a "fixer." Eddie is our only child. He was born with microcephaly, it seemed a wise choice not to have more kids and to devote all our time to Eddie. Therefore we have no grandchildren,but we do have our furry "kids. You will find a lot of different subjects on this blog, because life is interesting. I think staying interested in things is the best way to take care of your mind. Much of my blog is about my life, interests, hobbies and family, so you will see lots of pictures of my "children" here, including the wildlife!
