| Introduction | I'm a 19-year-old university student majoring in political science. I've been following politics roughly since the 2002 Congressional elections, when I was 13. Sometime in 2006, I started reading The New Republic and I got hooked. My politics are very much influenced by the magazine, as well as by former TNR editor Peter Beinart's book, The Good Fight: Why Liberals -- and Only Liberals -- Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again.
