| Introduction | Al & Sharon are from the San Antonio, TX area. We have camped all of our married life. We are now traveling in a 29' Winnebago Sightseer, Class A motorhome. Previously we traveled in a 26' Born Free Class C Motorhome which has been converted to 4 wheel drive. This allowed us to wander down many unpaved backcountry roads and camp there. Our main limiting factor is the 10' long overhang behind the rear axle. One reason for the 4X4 is we like to camp in the winter and the spring and fall seasons. There are times we may have snow fall on our campsite. The 4X4 will make it easier to drive on snow, but not ice. It is not our intent to update this blog or travel log on a daily basis. After we travel for a ways or have visited a particular area, we will post a log and pictures of our travels. The writing will be done by Al in the first person. We welcome comments and feed back and will try to reply to emails however we do not have full time access to internet. |
