| Introduction | Defining myself as a “professional amateur,” I have been capturing moments since I was able to peer through the viewfinder. Born and raised in Upstate New York, I nurtured my appreciation for the beauty and fluidity of life throughout my extended education in Marine Sciences. I have recently moved back to New York after an extended period on the West Coast of the United States enjoying the urban and rural offerings of Seattle, San Francisco and Phoenix. I have continuously endeavored to capture the fleeting moments that are the essence of lasting impressions through my extensive use and development of macro technique as well as exaggerated action imagery and enhanced portraiture. Although my mainstay is traditional SLR, I enjoy non-traditional contributions to the art, including the use of personal electronics and lomography. |
