Introduction	I am a 55 year old opiate addict. Been in MMT since 1978, wondering if I can get out before I die. Mom, 2 boys, 1 I gave birth to, the other I did not. They are 37 and 31.The LOVE of my life is my husband and partner, D. Bruce!!!! BTW, reminded my 1st taste of an opiate was paregoric. My Dad informed us, that it was given to me by the "quarts", so to speak! Something my Dad shared with us after my son was born. D.J. was also delivered by a midwife. I learned Dad was one too, when Mom lost a baby girl back in 1947. I was adopted, and have a brother who is 2 and a half years younger than me, his name is Bill.
Interests	Reading, writing, astrology, significant other, my son's, their wives, advocacy, plants, marijuana, legalizing marijuana, living in a small town. I am going to be a Grandma, we are going to be Grandparents!!!! Update, we have a beautiful Granddaughter, named Jade! She was 4 year's old on May 12th. I have not seen her, since we helped the kid's relocate to Alabama. David bought a home& I'm no longer 55, I'll be 61 in February, till then. I'm pretty sure have chronic kidney disease, I've been reading about it and having to urinate like every 2 hours or sooner even if I haven't eaten anything. I read up on the American Kidney Foundation that if you have trouble urinating urinating a lot waking up in the middle of the night to urinate that you definitely got a problem. We have no health insurance, I don't know how much longer I can take this though.. I haven't shared any of this with my son step son or daughter in laws, I think that my husband doesn't really care or thinks I'm a hypochondriac too I don't know what to do anymore. Beside the clinic every 28 days it's getting to be a real drag! I promised my son that I wouldn't take my own life, but if I don't get any better I will! I
