He is a journalism graduate of Michigan State University, former newspaper reporter and public relations professional (accredited by the Public Relations Society of America). He "discovered" the chamber of commerce world in 1999 and served as president and CEO of two local chambers in North Carolina....from the mountains to the coast. He is a regular volunteer columnist who contributes to the Carteret County (NC) News-Times and the monthly Island Review magazine. (Mike earned the rank of Eagle Scout.) |
