| Introduction | Hello! My name is Justice delos Santos and I am currently a junior at Hercules High School in Hercules, CA, a small town in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a two-sport athlete, currently participating in Cross Country and Track and Field. This past year, I was named Second Team All-League for Cross Country and captain for my Senior year, both huge honors. Along with sports, I participate in my school's Mock Trial and Journalism clubs. For my senior year, I will be the President of Mock Trial, as well as the editor-in-chief of Journalism. This upcoming summer, I will be participating in the Introduction to Debate and Rhetoric course at Cornell University and blogging about my experiences, which I am extremely excited about. I have been fascinated with the art of debate, whether it be in small classroom settings or with a group of friends and am extremely excited for the opportunity to learn with some bright minds. My goal for this course is to not only learn about Debate and Rhetoric, but to learn from my fellow students and advance as a 21st century scholar. |
