| Introduction | I have been creating pieces of art most of my life. I started out mainly painting on wood and canvas, as a hobby mostly. I have always had a passion and admiration for pottery. I dabbled a bit back in school, but never really pursued it. Several years back I took a pottery class at Libertytown Arts downtown Fredericksburg. I was hooked! I love working with clay and work with primarily functional ware ... there is something about taking a piece of clay and forming to be something useful. Cooking a meal using one of my pots that I created from a ball of clay is just such a wonderful feeling. I now have a studio down at Libertytown Arts Workshop ... what a place to work, the atmosphere with all of the different artists is just heaven to me. I would love for you to stop in for a visit. |
