IntroductionI grew up in Dubuque, moved away for college and never really expected to come back. Felt like I needed to assert my independence. I changed my mind five years ago when my father became ill. Looking back, I think it was one of the smarter things I've done. Today I work at a small university helping teachers use technology in the classroom (and answer questions like, "how do I turn this thing ON?" :-). I'm also an advisor for the campus movie club. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, photography, writing reviews on Yelp.com, and playing any sport involving a racquet! Before I moved back to Dubuque, I lived in Kansas City for five years, working as a writer for a small company that organizes art exhibits. I love art - especially modern art - and I have a master's degree in art history. My other passion is spending time outside, hiking, biking, rollerblading, etc. Last summer I spent a week in Glacier National Park with my family. It was amazing.
