| Introduction | I am a communicator, by experience and by nature. I'm told I have an ability to see the wood for the trees, and to communicate clearly and make pennies drop. I have worked at different times in the public, private and voluntary sectors; as a scientist, as a pastor and as a communications and marketing professional. I don't believe in religion. I don't agree that it has caused most of the trouble in the world - but it does seem to provide cover for an awful lot of troublemakers. I do believe in a God who created the universe and has a deep and abiding love for his creation. And I believe we can get to know Him - but it has to be on His terms. One of my goals in life is to get to know him better. I am married to Janette. We are privileged to have 3 lovely daughters, Sarah, Kerry and Danielle, and two top sons in law, Tom Ansell and Chris Hill. |
