Introduction	Studying abroad at the Baobab Center in Dakar, Senegal for four months (January-May) will be my first experience traveling outside of North America. I chose this study abroad program for several reasons (which I mention in the first blog post). I am majoring in Sociology and minoring in Religious Studies and am eager to gain different perspectives on each subject from the people I meet. If you have questions about anything, ask!
