| Introduction | I have been interested in fashion from a very young age. My passion for designing blossomed in grade 10 when the school had a careers day and an ex pupil who had studied fashion designing came to give a presentation. The next two years my whole focus was on getting into a college to fulfill my dream. After visiting several colleges from Stellenbosch to Cape Town, my parents and I settled for the Cape Town College of Fashion Design in Plumstead. After completing 3 years at the college, I decided to continue with the optional 4th year Higher Diploma course. I spent 3 months at Seventeen Magazine where my functions included the following: a. Stockroom control. b. Assisting on Advertorial and Editorial Shoots. c. Still shoots at DIS I also applied and was accepted for a casual position at ALDO Shore Store as a Sales Assistant. My duties here include the following: a. Salesperson. b. Liaising with other store on availability of stock. c. Helping with the upkeep of the store. |
