Introduction I am passionate about keeping outdoor culture alive and believe a close relationship with Nature needs to be actively cultured in children and youth for a better, healthier tomorow. I am an Animal Health Technology student at Thompson Rivers University due to graduate in June, 2012. My goals involve getting a job in the veterinary field as an AHT, purchasing a small home on a few acres where I can grow and raise my own food and embark on crazy creative projects. I am constantly in need of creating things - I have written several novels and self-published one piece of non-fiction. When I am procrastinating writing I paint, draw, knit, build stuff, raise very random species of animals, hunt, fish, fail at gardening, read classics and biographies, watch Doctor Who, and, apparently, blog.
