About me

Introduction	KAREN is in her third year as the K-12 teacher librarian for the Danville and New London Community School Districts in southeast Iowa. Before that, she worked for 14 years as the Instructional Print Materials Librarian at what was known as the Green Valley Area Education Agency in Creston. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education and Classical Languages from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and her M.A. in School Library Media Studies from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She has had teaching experience from preschool through adults.
