| Introduction | I’ve come to a natural jumping point in my life. It’s time to take my ‘hobbies’ more seriously. I’ve done standup sporadically over the last three years, sometimes having one show a month, sometimes having as many as a dozen. I’ve been playing poker since I was a kid. I learned both 5 and 7 card stud before I was ten…by twelve I was playing for money. I had a weekly rotation game in high school. In college I found ‘home’ games and introduced myself to the casino. Eventually I earned more playing 3-6 limit hold em then waiting tables. After college I dealt underground; I’d deal for 16 hours and then play for 8. I went pro for a little over a year mostly playing the NYC clubs. I had a partner back in those days who was more of an online specialist. I know the game pretty well, but I know the people better. It takes quite a masochistic attitude to put your fate on the hands of chance. I was never a math player even though that part of it always came easy to me. I love the action, but more importantly the interaction. Poker was my catalyst of socialization; it was where I became a hyperbole of myself. And to this day, it’s still as great a high as performing live. |

I'd either scratch my eye patch with my hook or kick my parrot with my peg leg...ARGHHHH
