| Introduction | I am a mid-thirties mess of a chica with two kids and one heck of a husband! We are an Army family who has weathered two year-long tours to Iraq. If you don't think the kids and I served that duty too, you're insane. I am inspired by many people and things, to include Travis (the husband), the kids, a whole host of family members who have done wonderful things or are wonderful just being who they are, survivors of all kinds (no, not the ones on the TV show), and stories of triumph. I know that sounds corny, but people gotta do whatever it takes to make it through the night. Oh, and I hate cancer. |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
The most likely answer would have something to do with copper or nickel in the bloodstream, right? Either that or the fact that when we lost our teeth the Tooth Fairy brought us money? I don't know and I don't think I like you for asking.
